Today we will be speaking with two DPs who have films at the festival, Iris Ng of the short film Nuuca and Claudia Raschke of the documentary RBG. We also talk with Taryn Gould, the editor & producer of the doc “Narcissister Organ Player”. We then have a discussion with Elan Bogarin and Jonathan Bogarin of 306 Hollywood. Finally, we chat with Jon M Chu, director of the upcoming film Crazy Rich Asians from the 14th annual APA Experience at Sundance.

During that conversation, it becomes very clear, to me, what kind of tools they want to use, how I want to approach it, and it becomes this dialog: whithin, usually, the first half-hour the directors are like, ‘Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking! I think we’ll make a great team.’ And, then, we move on to negotiation about budget and what I’ll have available in terms of tools…”
